Lance Perique (ex Fohr Deportes) joins Costa Rica for 2023 United Cup- December 10, 2022

In 2008 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Rio Grande Valley Vipers (D-League) in eighth round (117th overall). He graduated from Georgia State in 2007 and it will be his 17th (!!!) season in pro basketball. Perique is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. Perique has played previously professionally in Australia (Bandits), SEBL (Baseline), Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis and Abejas), Dominican Republic (Parque Hostos), WBA (Marietta S.), UBA (Houston Havok and Louisiana S.), NBL-US (East Houston United) and Vietnam (Buffaloes). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Perique's team made it to the UBA Semifinals in 2015. He was voted to UBA All-Star Game back in 2015.
